Our team works with established Prague-based rental houses, confirming openings, building cross-rental where a specific item is scarce, and scheduling kit against the shooting plan so gear is on the right unit on the right day.

Here is the short of it. The Czech Republic's strength as a service-production hub means the local rental infrastructure is wide, supporting major studio work at Barrandov, and we plan logistics around it: transport between Prague and regional units in Bohemia or Moravia, power and rigging for location days, and contingency for the country's land-based climate. Gear is rented in Czech koruna, and we keep the package costed transparently for budgeting and rebates-qualifying spend.

Here is the breakdown. Cross-border gear movement is straightforward to plan when handled correctly. As an EU and Schengen member, the Czech Republic allows gear to move freely within the single market, so kit travelling from another EU country needs no carnet; gear arriving from outside the EU uses ATA Carnets cleared by Czech Customs (Celní správa). We build these needs into the plan so nothing is delayed at the border.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Wireless gear — radio mics, comms and video links — must operate on frequencies set up through the Czech Telecommunication Office (Český telekomunikační úřad, ČTÚ), and any aerial work falls under the Civil Aviation Authority (Úřad pro civilní letectví, ÚCL) drone rules; we flag these in planning so the technical package is both creatively right and fully compliant.
