Drone operations here run under the EU/EASA framework, so our pilots hold the fitting open or specific category authorisations and our company keeps operator registration with the Civil Aviation Authority (ÚCL). We scout flight paths during prep, file the necessary notifications, brief directors on what each category permits, and set up aerial work with the ground unit so footage cuts together seamlessly.

Here is the breakdown. Airspace coordination is central to safe aerial drone work in the Czech Republic. Controlled airspace surrounds Václav Havel Airport Prague, Brno and Ostrava, and flights within those zones need clearance before launch. Aerial filming over the Historic Centre of Prague — a UNESCO World Heritage site — extra needs permits arranged through the Prague Film Commission and city authorities. We manage that paperwork as part of the service. The Central-European land-based climate, with its cold, snowy winters and warm summers, opens distinct seasonal looks, and we schedule flights around weather windows.
