Our teams set up the LED wall, the tracking system, the content pipeline and the camera and lighting departments as a single tech unit, and the Czech crew base is deep, worldwide skilled and trained in part at FAMU.

Here is the short of it. Virtual production in the Czech Republic draws on Prague's set up real-time and visual-effects sector, built around Barrandov and the country's decades as a European service-production hub — the 'Hollywood of the East'. Studios such as UPP give the environment creation, real-time content and finishing that virtual production depends on, so a production can build digital worlds and shoot them in-camera within the same ecosystem.
